After a long, hot summer, the air has stilled and cooled. It's like flying on a mill pond. As one of my very young, but very knowledgeable students (he is one of the well known aviation family's in town) pointed out, 'It's weather like this that shows all the little faults!' More importantly it's weather like this that lets you work on your fine tuning.
